It has also been a favorite for knitting \u003cem\u003ekofte\u003c\/em\u003e sweaters since the early 1980s, because the structure of the yarn brings out the pattern of these traditional knitted jackets. Garments knitted with Sisu have a long lifespan and can remain just as beautiful for several generations.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe yarn is superwash treated to withstand frequent machine washing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor machine washing, we recommend that all wool garments be washed separately on a wool program, to ensure the gentlest treatment. Centrifuge well and dry the garment flat, preferably on top of a towel. Never use a laundry bag when washing hand-knitted wool garments.
