ABOUT THE SPINNACLE YARN CAFE
We began as "The World's Littlest LYS (Little Yarn Shop)", The Spinnacle Yarns, established in the fall of 2022 in a shipping container in the The Langford Station cultural district. That vision of community and creativity ushered in a new era in early 2026: The Spinnacle Yarn Cafe. Moving a few blocks away and expanding it's footprint more than tenfold, the vision remains the same: BC goods, helping hands, and connecting through creativity.
The Spinnacle Yarn Cafe is owned by three tightly knit friends: Nicole, founder of The Spinnacle Yarns, Hayley Reid, and Dr Nicole of The Dandy Doe. The idea for the Yarn Cafe blossomed as our friendship grew over endless lattes, stitches and adventure. We want to create a space where you are welcome to stitch, sip, shop and socialize, with community, accessibility and kindness at the forefront. And so we decided to build it. On long road trips together, we joked it would be perfect to have a little cafe you can knit in and find all the local yarns you need...and the joke has become very, very real.
