DK Weight | 225 Meters (246 Yards) | 100 grams
Alpine DK is a beautifully soft and springy blend of 50% baby alpaca and 50% fine non-superwash merino, with a gentle halo, lovely drape, and wonderfully cozy feel.
As a non-superwash yarn, Alpine retains the warmth, gentle bloom, and natural character of untreated fibre. Its softness also makes it a lovely introduction to non-superwash wool for knitters who typically prefer the feel of superwash yarns.

Alpine DK is a beautifully soft and springy blend of 50% baby alpaca and 50% fine non-superwash merino, with a gentle halo, lovely drape, and wonderfully cozy feel.
The 21-micron merino gives Alpine its natural bounce, elasticity, and stitch definition, while baby alpaca adds exceptional softness and a more fluid drape. Together, they create a fabric that feels plush and comfortable without becoming overly heavy or structured.

Beautiful for sweaters, cardigans, colourwork, textured knits, and cozy accessories where you want the warmth of wool with a little extra softness and drape.
Soft. Springy. Naturally Luxurious.
Care: Gently hand wash in cool water with a wool-safe wash. Avoid agitation and lay flat to dry.
Note: Hand dyed in small batches on Vancouver Island, each dye lot is unique and variation between skeins is expected. For larger projects, alternating skeins is recommended to create a beautifully blended fabric.
