Our tops are made with 70% extra fine merino wool from both Australia and South America and 30% tussah silk from China. As always, all the materials are carefully selected to ensure constant quality over time. All merino wool lots are MULESING FREE. The dyeing complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and is GOTS 5.0 and GRS certified.
This blend is perfect for both needle and wet felting, spinning and hand weaving. The Silk content adds a nice drape to finished fabrics, along with a bit of shine. I like this blend for next to skin items, shawls are a personal favourite!
